★ 2025 Winter Options (Studless Tires, 4WD, Ski Carrier)★

Studless tires (snow tires) are now available to request at the time of booking.
However, please note that vehicles equipped with winter tires are limited, and we cannot guarantee their availability.
We will notify you via email regarding the availability of winter tire options after your booking has been processed.
Snow tires are not simply installed on a confirmed vehicle; instead, there are specific vehicle models that come pre-equipped with them, and these are in limited supply.
In some regions, such as Fukuoka and Tokyo, the winter tire option is rarely available due to mild weather conditions and minimal snowfall.
⚠️ Snow chains are NOT available at any rental location
1. Winter Option Availability
In some regions, studless tires are included as a standard option at no additional charge.
If you are traveling to these areas, no separate request is necessary.
Please check the list of regions where studless tires are included as standard.
Ski carriers are not available at all locations; fees and availability will be emailed if selected at booking.
2. Necessity of Winter Tires
If you plan to travel to regions in Japan with heavy snowfall, it is recommended to equip your vehicle with winter tires.
However, this depends on the weather and road conditions on the day, so we cannot provide clear instructions in advance.
Please make the decision at your own discretion.
For your reference, you may check last year’s weather conditions.

Reservations made before the winter option period will be confirmed with regular tires.
To request studless tires, please contact us by email (trl_global@toyotarenta.net)
after the winter option period begins (late November onward).
